| Yeah so my family flew to Orlando, Florida on Thanksgiving rented a van and drove to Tyndall AFB about 400 miles from Orlando. We stayed in a cabin at Tyndall AFB near Panama City (middle of the panhandle). The main purpose of the trip was to visit Amy's mom who lives near Tyndall. Since we spent all day traveling, we had Thanksgiving dinner on Friday. Worth, mainly because of the atmosphere, is at Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant near the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Joe T's is a local institution sort of like Matta's was in Mesa. The difference is that Joe T's is much larger, maybe 4 times as large as Matta's. Another difference is that they don't actually have a printed menu. You have your choice of enchiladas with tacos or you can choose fajitas and they don't take credit cards but nobody seems to mind. On a weeknight, it's not uncommon to wait for 45 minutes to get an outdoor seat. On a weekend, it's longer (although there is often no wait for indoor seats). | Amy and the girls are at girls camp while Zachary and Kristoffer are off on another camping adventure. That means it's just the three younger boys and me at home.
