Preshaw, Ralph (Woody)
80, of Apache Junction, Az passed away on April 6, 2009 after a brief illness. Woody moved to Az in the early 60s. His passion to teach landed him at Mesa High School, were he taught World History and Drivers Ed for 28 yrs. He also coached football, baseball and golf. Known as the "Voice of the Jackrabbits", he loved announcing sports at Mesa High. His blood ran Purple and Gold. Woody is predeceased in death by his daughter Catherine. He is survived by his sons, Steve (Cathi) Preshaw, Karl (Stacey) Preshaw, Robert (Kristen) Preshaw. Son in law Alan Kent. Step-daughter Katie (Paul) Mozurkiwich. He is grandpa to 15 grandchildren and great grandpa to 14 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 3 p.m. First United Methodist Church, 15 E. 1st Ave, Mesa.
